FPCL’s Community Dinner Continues to Grow and Serve

FPCL’s August Community Dinner held on Tuesday evening, August 29th was another successful dinner, feeding 50 guests and 18 volunteers, plus seconds for some and many to-go boxes.  Once again we had many stories from our guests and many, many compliments and thanks.  One family who came in July, brought some fresh picked produce from their garden to share and one guest gave us a cash donation as he said this dinner is very important to him!  We served chicken and beef tacos with all the fixings, including two kinds of beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.

Another gift to the dinner was that Maxine who cleans our church volunteered to make both mild and spicy salsa from her family recipe!  It was delicious and such a gift from her.

Our next Community Dinner will be held on Tuesday, September 26th.  Read more about FPCL’s Community Dinner – HERE
