Pasta Was a Big Hit at FPCL’s January Community Dinner

The January Community Dinner was a huge success. Pasta with sauce, sausage and meatballs was served with a wonderful tossed green salad full of veggies and an amazing homemade salad dressing.  Along with that was garlic bread, fresh fruit and dessert platters filled with cookies, brownies and homemade lemon bars. We fed 67 guests from outside the church as well as numerous volunteers.

There were many new faces that evening and many that have enjoyed the dinners numerous times. One of the guests, who was a former restaurant worker said that “it was the best spaghetti dinner he had ever had”. Quite the compliment for sure!

The next community dinner is February 27th.  The planned menu for that evening will be Honey Mustard Chicken with Noodles, Herbed Green Beans, Tossed Salad with Apples, Fresh Fruit and Handheld Desserts. Please remember that all are welcome!  Read more about FPCL’s Community Dinner HERE
