Beef Stew Draws Many Guests for February’s Community Dinner

Our church smelled amazing  the afternoon of February 26th, with the aroma of homemade beef stew, warm rolls, cinnamon applesauce and tossed green salad as it was being prepared for the  community dinner that evening. Approximately 70 guests enjoyed the dinner along with numerous volunteers.  The number of guests has continued to gradually increase over the past three years that the dinners have been provided. It is so nice to see familiar faces of those that come monthly and  the new faces of those who are coming to enjoy this meal for the very first time.  We were even fortunate enough to have Darrell, who is a trained chef, volunteer to help us in the kitchen that day

Next months menu includes: Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, buttery peas, tossed salad, fresh fruit and homemade desserts.  As always, ALL are welcome.  Read more about our Community Dinner HERE
