FPCL’s Community Dinner Provides Some Holiday Cheer

Despite the cold temperatures and the day being moved to a Monday, the December Community Dinner was well attended with approximately 60 guests.  The menu of  Christmas casserole, orange cranberry salad and a tossed green salad received rave reviews from those that attended.   It has become a December favorite for many years now.  Comments included “how good everything was and how thankful they were to come in out of the cold to be  around familiar faces after being lonely for part of the holiday”.   Guests were also treated to special music while enjoying their meal. Harpists Jodie and Caroline brought their harps and played wonderful music for the evening.  Comments were made that “it sounded like the symphony was there playing”.

We were very thankful and appreciative for the family members of some of the volunteers that stepped in to help that evening.  It was greatly appreciated.

Our next Community Dinner will be held on Tuesday January 28th and will feature spaghetti, meatballs, sausage, salad and French bread.  Remember, all are welcome.  Learn more about FPCL’s Community Dinner HERE
