We will evaluate the situation for our upcoming worship services and continue to update this page and our email list. If you wish to receive those emails, please contact us at fpcl@fpcl.org.

We will continue to send weekly video worship services by email, and they will be posted on the sermons page of our website, and we have a special online worship page as well. If you are not already on our weekly email and wish to receive this video, please contact us at fpcl@fpcl.org.

Summary

Pastor Cody

  • Worship has been canceled on March 29, April 5 (Palm Sunday), and April 12 (Easter). We will continue to offer an online video worship service.
  • Church leadership will evaluate future worship services and inform the congregation
  • Smaller groups, Bible studies, and committees can figure out what works best for their group, and we can help people setup an online meeting if that is helpful
  • We are going to try to organize people in the church to call each other weekly to check in, offer prayer, and continue relationships through a very lonely time
  • The church office is now closed due to the stay-at-home order. Mail will still be received at the church, but it will be delayed

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As the current health concerns have resulted in a very fluid situation, our church leadership has been contemplating how we can best invest in our mutual faith given the latest news. We ask for your grace and patience as we try to lead in difficult and ever-changing times.

As we surveyed the current situation, we believe it necessary to cancel worship services on March 22, March 29, April 5 (Palm Sunday), and April 12 (Easter). We will continue to evaluate the situation, and we are very aware that this disruption might stretch longer than two weeks.

While we are not able to gather in worship in-person, hopefully you received and were blessed by our video worship service from March 15. We will continue to put together a heart-felt worship experience each week that you can enjoy online. It will be sent out on this email list, it will be posted on littletonpresbyterian.org/worship, and it will be shared on Facebook as well. You may also continue to give at littletonpresbyterian.org/give, by mailing a check to 1609 W Littleton Blvd, Littleton, CO 80120, or by bringing your offering to the church office.

We are thinking deeply about those who are very isolated by the current health situation. I will work with the staff and our ministry leaders to come up with a way that everyone can demonstrate the love of Christ over the phone on a weekly basis. Stay tuned on that!

We will continue to be in communication as the situation unfolds, and we covet your prayers as we seek to demonstrate our faithfulness on one hand and our cautious wisdom on the other.

In Christ’s Service Together,

Pastor Cody
