Celebration of August 2 In-Person Worship (First Since March 8)

After a couple of months of preparation and planning, we were able to offer our first in-person worship service since March 8. We welcomed 33 worshipers and kept everyone safe with our Phase One In-Person Worship Guidelines. We learned how to celebrate Communion with pre-packaged kits. We enjoyed Mary’s singing and piano playing. And we enjoyed the opportunity to see each other face to face – even at a distance and with masks on. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, and we look forward to seeing people again soon.

Our church leadership team (called Session) is learning from this worship service, has determined that we will offer in-person worship on the first Sundays of the month for now as long as our COVID-19 Scorecard indicates it is safe enough to offer in-person worship. RSVP’s will be required, and they will be available at fpcl.org/rsvp about a week in advance.
