FPCL Youth serve our community through a food drive for Littleton’s Nourish Meals on Wheels!

On Saturday, August 15, eleven youth, a variety of parents, and 3 youth leaders hosted a food drive to support feeding the Littleton community through Littleton Meals on Wheels. With the help of a very generous congregation, the youth collected 40 boxes of non-perishable food items and many paper goods to donate! Nourish Meals on Wheels will, in turn, distribute these items to those in our community that are hungry or are unable to shop for groceries during the pandemic.

Surprise participation from our new youth director Jason and his fiancé Zoe also helped make this event special!

MANY THANKS to those who supported this effort through generous food donations!

MANY THANKS to the youth volunteer leaders for their efforts in organizing this successful event!

In the words of one of the leaders: “It reminds us that service/volunteering is something that’s really important to this group. It’s a tremendous testament to being the hands and feet of Christ in our community.”
