Amidst this unusual year and this unusual Advent season, The Christian Education Committee was determined to make Advent just as special as ever for the children of FPCL. After hours of planning, printing, and packaging, 24 Advent bags were created and hand delivered to our FPCL children. Each bag included 26 individually sealed bags for each day of Advent, starting on Sunday November 29th, for the children to open one each day. Each days’ sealed bag included an activity/coloring page, an act of kindness, and a portion of the Christmas Story for the children to read and piece together throughout Advent. Additionally, the children received a special craft for each of the four Sundays of Advent as well as Christmas Eve. Thank you so much to all the volunteers to who helped create this one of a kind Advent experience for all of the children of FPCL!
