Food Drive Hosted by the Mission Committee and Youth Group
Sunday, March 7, 12 pm – 2 pm
Supporting Littleton Life Center
The Mission Committee and Youth Group are hosting a food drive in the church parking lot on Sunday, March 7, between 12 pm and 2 pm in support of Littleton Life Center. We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to help stock the Life Center Food Bank. The Food Bank is an emergency, short-term food panty for the able-bodied and a long-term food pantry for seniors, disabled individuals, and those suffering from long-term illnesses. Emergency food is available twice a month to any individual or family in need.
We are requesting donations of the following items:
- Peanut butter
- Jelly/Jam
- Canned items including tuna, chicken, condensed soups, hearty soups (like Campbell’s Chunky Brand), chili, stews, fruit
- Packaged dry goods including pasta, tuna and chicken helper, cookies, crackers (all varieties), noodles/rice packets, instant oatmeal, cold breakfast cereals, breakfast pastries (Pop-Tarts), granola bars
- Multi-packs of Jello, pudding and fruit cups
We will be offering “Contactless Curbside Drop-off” for everyone’s safety and protection. When you arrive at FPCL, simply pull into the parking lot and a volunteer wearing a face covering will be there to collect your donation from your backseat, trunk, rear cargo area, etc., all without you having to leave your vehicle!
Volunteers will also be available in the Welcome Center following the 9:30 am worship service to collect donations from those attending worship on Sunday morning.
