What a fun evening the youth group had at Colorado Journey Miniature Golf Course on the evening of July 7. There were five leader —— Trey McDowell, Sue Chandler, Janice Fagan, Michaela Wilson and Dee Getzinger! We had ten youth ready for fun, and it was! It was great to hear laughter and no one really caring about the score! There was a young couple behind Dee’s and Sue’s team, and we asked them if they wanted to go ahead of us, and they said, “No way! We are having more fun watching the kids have fun and interact and not on cell phones.” Wow! That about said it all. We finished a little early, and some of the kids went over to the park and played frisbees with some dogs there and had a blast. It was truly an evening of fun and laughter! It is a gift for us leaders to just experience being with them. And Dee even had an easy time getting the kids to pose for photos to share! Just so thankful for this time with these kids. As I told them, “They are our future,” and they just laughed! These kids were truly a gift for us that night! And we were so happy to share time with them!

FPLC offers youth small groups for high school boys, high school girls, and middle schoolers.  Youth do not have to be church members to join in the fun.  Contact the FPCL office for more information.
