Every year FPCL volunteers provide a full meal on Thanksgiving to those in our community. Ordinarily we offer both a sit-down dinner at our church for about 80 guests, as well as home delivery of nearly 300 meals to those unable to leave their homes. Again this year, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be able to offer a sit-down meal. However, we will still offer home delivery of Thanksgiving dinner.
This year, FPCL has received permission to prepare our meals at the beautiful new Meals on Wheels facility on Arapahoe Rd. Church volunteers will provide contactless deliveries, wearing masks, and following all applicable safety protocols.
To order a meal, contact the church office at 303-798-1389, or by email HERE.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in” – Matthew 25:35 (NIV)
This long standing tradition is only made possible by our generous donations of time and money. Please consider contributing to this much appreciated effort. Checks should be made to First Presbyterian Church of Littleton with “Thanksgiving” in the memo line, and may be mailed to the church or dropped off. You may also contribute on-line HERE. Please select “Thanksgiving Meal” in the drop down menu. Volunteer sheets are available in Ayers Parlor or you may contact the church office.
