A good time was had by all at our “Old Fashion” Christmas Party.  Tables were set in Ficklin Hall for our Buffet Meal and table activities.   One room on the Lower Level was set up for decorating sugar cookies (to take home to their families), while another room was set up for making  paper chains and stringing popcorn.   Students also stopped by the Mitten Tree set up in Chandler Hall and then we culminated with a time in the Church Sanctuary hearing the story of the First Christmas.     Tutors played Santa’s helpers by delivering Our Giving Tree Presents to their students’ families.

Two comments from Tutors:   On the way home Alexis said, “that was sooo fun!”And I came away with such a good feeling in my heart. His family was so very appreciative of all the gifts from us and the church…. and Alexis could hardly contain himself pulling things out of his bag to show his Mom!

Victor & his family were full of smiles and said thank you to everyone for the box of gifts.
