Thank you for visiting First Presbyterian Church of Littleton’s website.  Our privacy policy outlines the type of information we learn when you visit our site and how such information will be used.

Purpose:  First Presbyterian Church of Littleton (“FPCL”), recognizes that an individual’s privacy is very important to them and that they have a right to control their personal information.  FPCL acknowledges that when an individual provides personal information about themselves to another party it is an act of trust.  In response, FPCL takes the process of upholding an individual’s privacy very seriously. Unless an individual gives FPCL explicit consent to act otherwise, the following policy will govern how FPCL handles an individual’s personal information and safeguards their privacy.

Scope:  The principles contained in this privacy document apply to all personal information collected or submitted to FPCL.  By using this website, you consent to our use of your personal data as described in this privacy policy.

  1. What information of yours does FPCL collect?

FPCL collects two different types of information. One type is voluntary information, which you provide, such as your email address or telephone number when contacting us through the website.   1. What are “cookies” and how does FPCL use them?

Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. FPCL encourages parents and guardians to spend time with their children and youth online.  We do not knowingly collect personal data from children and youth under the age of thirteen.  If you are under thirteen, please do not give us any personal data.  If you have reason to believe that a child or youth has provided personal data on this web site, please contact us and we will endeavor to delete that information.  If you are a child or youth under the age of thirteen and using this website, please do not give any information about yourself, such as your name, address, birth date, telephone number, school, or email address.

Photographs of children and youth engaged in church-related activities may be posted on the website.  No identifying information, to include but not limited to a child or youth’s name, age, address, telephone number, school, or email address, will be included with any photograph posted on the website.  A parent or guardian may request that a particular photo, or photos, be removed from our website at any time.  Such requests should be sent to website@fpcl.org

  1. How does linking to other sites affect my privacy protections?

As a courtesy, FPCL may provide links to other sites that are neither owned nor controlled by FPCL. Some of these sites may use the FPCL logo.  These third party sites, however, are NOT subject to or bound by the FPCL Privacy Policy.  Such third party sites may or may not have their own privacy policies and may or may not collect personal information from you or place cookies on your browser. FPCL is not responsible for the privacy policies or any information collection practices of these sites or any damages resulting there from.
