Despite the rain … many new faces for FPCL’s July Community Dinner

FPCL’s July Community Dinner was another success, despite the rain. Many familiar faces and new ones.

July’s menu included: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Corn on the Cob, Coleslaw, Watermelon and Cantaloupe Slices, Oranges and Desserts( Brownie’s, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Lemon Bars, Rice Krispy Treats, etc).

We had a total of 43 guests including 3 children

Reviews from diners included:

  • “Wow, they have centerpieces”
  • ” Are those really glass plates”
  • ” This is really special”

Many wanted to meet the volunteer who spent many hours smoking the pulled pork and thanking him. They really enjoyed it.

August’s menu will include:  Chicken and Beef Taco Bar with all the fixings, fresh fruit and hand held desserts.
