FPCL Kicks Off the New Year with January Community Dinner

The January 29th pasta dinner was a big success.  Although the attendance overall was lower than in previous months due to the extremely cold weather, all who attended seemed to really enjoy the meal.  It consisted of penne pasta, sauce, sausages, 325 homemade meatballs, salad, garlic bread and wonderful desserts.  The dinner was attended by approximately 55 guests including 15 children.

In order to make the guests more comfortable, 2 tables were set up in the old children’s library on the Windermere level for those who have difficulty with the stairs down to Ficklin and also to provide them with a warmer location to enjoy their meal than previously in  the welcome center.

The menu for February 26th includes stew with meat and lots of vegetables, tossed salad, homemade applesauce along with fresh fruit and homemade desserts.

As always, all are welcome.  Read more about FPCL’s Community Dinner HERE
