Every year First Pres provides a full meal on Thanksgiving to those in our community. Volunteers pack a full meal in a sack, and other volunteers deliver the meals directly to shut-ins, home-bound, or others in our community who are unable to leave their home.
375 pounds of turkey…
… and all the fixins!
This year we cooked 375 pounds of turkey, had 82 wonderful hard-working volunteers, delivered 183 meals, served 77 sit down meals in Ficklin Hall, and filled about a dozen walk-up requests for to-go meals. Everyone who volunteered and came to eat, all seemed to have a great time of sharing with each other.
