Beginning in October of 2015 our confirmation class started their journey together with their mentors. Our Confirmation students and mentors are: Cara Laughlin with mentor Loretta Beveridge, Charlie Graham with mentor Scott Chandler, and Claire Deighan with mentor Sue Chandler. Over the last several months they would meet one on one with their mentor to delve deeply into great truths of our faith. They would discuss topics of God, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Baptism, Worship, Communion, Prayer and Mission. They would spend Saturday evenings once a month together learning all about the Presbyterian faith. Starting with an awesome weekend retreat.

They put an incredible amount of work, time and energy into their confirmation journey. It was amazing to watch these three wrestle with their faith, and work very hard to find a faith of their own. The mentors worked just as hard of these youth and were incredible! FPCL you should be very proud of your youth and the amazing mentors who worked alongside them. What a blessing to watch these three confess their faith in Christ.
