On the weekend of February 15-17, 9 youth members and 3 leaders attended Rest Fest at Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs. The retreat’s title was “Pardon the Interruption” and focused on the theme of “Joy” and finding it within busy schedules. The group certainly returned full of joy, having grown in their relationships with each other and with God through worship, small group time, games, crafts and water slides! Our youth participated with 104 other youth members from around the metro area in this uplifting event. A huge THANK YOU to interim youth director James Bierschwale and volunteer leaders Joy Carreno and Trey McDowell for their time and commitment to making this amazing weekend happen!
